According to the situation held by the branch, there are about 250,000 tons of capacity under construction and expansion, which will further aggravate the production of excess capacity. The production capacity of green silicon carbide is about 2 million tons, and the capacity utilization rate is about 15%. The backward production capacity still exists in large quantities. Enterprises are slow to adjust their product mix and eliminate backward production capacity. The homogeneity of products is serious. Under the circumstances that electricity prices, labor costs, and raw material costs continue to increase, companies can only use low prices to spread costs. This is an important reason why prices have not risen.

3. There are still outstanding problems in cleaner production, especially in smelting. There is a lack of control over the discharge of pollutants such as wastewater, exhaust gas, and dust during the abrasive processing.
