Because there are few studies on the mass transfer performance of the garland fillers, no corresponding mathematic model has been established. Only Tianjin University Li Xiyuan et al. studied the fluid mechanics and mass transfer performance of Japanese garland fillers. However, the experiment was conducted only under the air-water-ammonia system, and no corresponding correlation was proposed for the calculation of the mass transfer coefficient. In this regard, we calculated the mass transfer formulae of Raschig ring and Pall ring packing in the design calculations of plastic garland garland/washed garland packing/stainless steel plate corrugated packing. The reason is: It is based on organic medium or water in the absorption or desorption operation, the fillers used are: arc saddle-shaped Raschig ring packing and Pall ring spherical packing. It is suitable for the operating environment of washing benzene tower.
