Comprehensive Survey and Evaluation of "Three Rates" for Deploying Important Minerals in Pingxiang City

To implement the conservation-priority strategy and identify the current status of conservation and comprehensive utilization of China's major mineral resources, in accordance with the Twelfth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline for the Action Plan for the Exploration of Ore Breakthrough (2010-2020). The Ministry of Land and Resources decided to carry out surveys and evaluations on the “mining rate of recovery, ore recovery, and comprehensive utilization rate” (hereinafter referred to as “three rate”) of 22 important minerals such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas. The “three rates” comprehensive investigation and evaluation of various types of mines will provide a basic understanding of the current status of the province’s scarce shortages and comprehensive utilization of advantageous mineral resources, and investigate the province's low-taste minerals, co-associated minerals, refractory mineral resources status, and mine dumps and tailings resources. Such comprehensive development and utilization of the status quo, and comprehensive utilization evaluation of mineral resources in key minerals and key areas, to improve the basic support for national economic construction and macroeconomic decision-making.To do this work, recently, Pingxiang City held a special meeting to actively deploy Comprehensive survey and evaluation of “triple rate” of important minerals such as coal and iron, through the development of Comprehensive Survey and important mineral "rule of three" working to achieve the conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, mining companies raise their technological level, increased mining enterprises economic and social benefits.
