The remaining top five markets are: Canada ($17.1 million), the United Kingdom ($15 million) and India ($10 million).

US metal processing machine tool imports increased by 64.3% year-on-year

In February, the United States imported 244 million US dollars of metal processing machine tools, a decrease of 6.6% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 64.3%. In terms of product types, in February, the United States imported metal cutting machine tools of 201 million US dollars, down 2.4% from the previous month; imported metal forming machine tools 42.8 million US dollars, down 22.3%.

From the source of machine tool imports, Japan and Germany are still the most important source of machine tool imports in the United States. In February, the United States imported $105 million from Japan, an increase of 20.8% from the previous month; imported machine tools from Germany reached $38.3 million, a 29% increase from the previous month. .
