2.3 Automated spinning process trajectory design

(1) Trajectory design. The first automated spinning processing track is shown in Figure 3. The second automated spinning processing track is shown in Figure 4. The advantage of using the first feeding method is that the programming is simple, the surface finish of the workpiece is good, but the workpiece is easily thickened or broken, so the second feeding mode is adopted.

(2) Trajectory calculation. Different feeds need to be set in different process conditions. It is necessary to calculate the length of the arc in each feed path in the XY direction. The calculation process is calculated as follows according to Figure 5.

The length of each arc in the Y direction is ΔY1, ΔY2. . . ΔYn=K

The length of the first arc in the X direction is ΔX1=sqrt(R2-(RK)2)

The length of the second arc in the X direction is ΔX2=sqrt(R2-(R-2K)2)-ΔX1
