Fertigation: Precautions for fertilizer preparation
   1. Reaction when the fertilizer is mixed When the mother liquor using a variety of fertilizer nutrients dubbed, since the presence of more ionic liquids, the reaction may occur between various ions, thereby affecting the effectiveness of nutrient. When formulating nutrient solutions for fertigation, the solubility of the products after mixing different fertilizers must be considered. The fertilizer mixture reduces the solubility of the mixture due to the formation of a precipitate. More than two fertilizer tanks are used to store the separately deposited fertilizers after mixing .     2 , temperature changes when the fertilizer is dissolved Most fertilizers are accompanied by a thermal reaction when dissolved. If the phosphoric acid dissolves, it will release heat. When the urea dissolves, it will absorb heat and lower the water temperature. Understanding these reactions has certain guiding significance for the preparation of nutrient mother liquor in the field.      3 , the reaction of fertilizer and irrigation water Irrigation water usually contains various ions and impurities. Such as calcium ions, magnesium ions, sulfate ions, carbonate ions and hydrogencarbonate ions. When these ions inherent in irrigation water at a certain concentration, i.e. ions react with the relevant fertilizer, precipitation. Northern China high hardness of irrigation water, irrigation fertilization, and calcium and magnesium phosphate fertilizers in irrigation water ions and sulfate ions to form a precipitate. When the hardness of the water is large, fertilization (especially phosphate fertilizer) by the irrigation system is liable to cause sedimentation, which causes clogging of the dripper and the filter. Acidic fertilizer is recommended. The acid solution is periodically injected into the irrigation system to dissolve the sediment and prevent the dripper from blocking. The hardness of water can usually be understood by measuring the conductivity of the irrigation water. When the conductivity of the irrigation water is high (greater than 2-3 dS/m ), there may be a risk of precipitation by applying phosphate or sulfate. At the same time, the addition of fertilizer (inorganic salt) to irrigation water with high conductivity may cause salt damage to crops.   4. Reaction between irrigation fertilizer and equipment Because the fertilizer is used by the irrigation system, the materials and fertilizers of the irrigation system are in direct contact.
