Gas alarm installation location, height, and mode (1) gas gas alarm controller installation location, installation height, installation method:
Installation location: non-explosion-proof occasions, duty rooms or places where people often come and go;
Installation height: easy to operate, generally selected as 1.4m from the ground
Installation method:
A. Please make two fixed holes with a horizontal distance of 180mm and a diameter of 6mm on the wall.
B. Fix the mounting plate to the wall with Φ6 plastic bulge.
C. Hang the mounting hooks on the back of the controller to the mounting plate. (2) Problems to be noted when installing the gas alarm detectors:
1. The selection of gas detectors should be within the range of 1 meter in the vicinity of the valve, pipe interface, outlet or easy leakage, as close as possible, but does not affect the operation of other equipment.
2. The gas detector should be installed in places where gas easily leaks, flows easily, and places where it is easy to stay. The installation location should be determined according to the density of the gas to be measured, the airflow direction of the installation site, and temperature.
Mounting height:
1, when the detection of methane, hydrogen and other lighter than the air flammable gas, its installation height should be higher than the release source 0.5 ~ 2m, and the horizontal distance of the release source should be less than 5m.
2. When combustible gases and gases that are heavier than air are detected, it is recommended that the installation height of the detector should be 0.3 to 0.6 m above the floor (or floor surface), and the horizontal distance from the release source should be less than 5 m. If the installation is too low, it may cause the detector to enter the water; if it is too high, it is beyond the height at which the gas can easily accumulate.
3. When detecting toxic gases (such as carbon monoxide) that are close to the molecular weight of air and are easily mixed with air, the detector should be installed within a height range of 1m above and below the release source; when the toxic gas is slightly lighter than the air, the detector is installed on the release. Above the source, when the toxic gas is slightly heavier than air, the detector is installed below the release source; the horizontal distance between the detector and the release source should not exceed 1m.
Installation method:
The gas detector installation method can be carried by the tube, bracket or wall mounted installation, and should ensure that the installation is solid and reliable. Install the detector with the sensor facing down. After correct connection, the detector cover should be fixed to meet the explosion-proof requirements.
