"Wenbo system first moved, cultural relics can live." Zhao Shuguang, director of the Museum Department of the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, graduated from the university in 1986 and worked in the cultural relics system. He was deeply touched.

Cultural relics are discovered by archaeology. For a long time, the archaeological work of cultural relics was a closed single line: “dig” the cultural relics, produce a trivial and professional report, and then hand over the cultural relics to the warehouse. Today, Shanxi Wenbo work is trying to break this logic. The "archaeological story" exhibition caused a strong response in the provincial capital Taiyuan last year. This is an exhibition showing the archaeological achievements during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period in Shanxi. It is now on tour to Yuncheng and will be followed by the Datong Exhibition. It is widely welcomed in different places. Zhao Shuguang said that the success of this exhibition is to break the "single line" of cultural relics and archaeology, and to link archaeological discoveries with social life.

Move it up to be alive. The Shanxi Wenbo system embodied the cultural relics as a “cultural relics exhibition”. This is a key task in the 13th Five-Year Plan of the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics. Zhao Shuguang said that the "tour exhibition" is not simply to allow cultural relics to be exhibited in different places, but to use this as a starting point to make the entire cultural and social system move from top to bottom and from all sides.

Shanxi has successfully planned the “No Locks and No Talk” lock exhibition, and is planning large-scale exhibitions such as “The Memory of the National War of Resistance Against Japan” and “Dragons in the Sky” Tianlongshan Grottoes Digital Reconstruction International Exhibition. A common feature of these exhibitions is that the cooperation between provinces, cities and counties, the cooperation between the cultural system and the cultural relics department, and the communication between the two sides, and the joint efforts of all.

Zhao Shuguang feels that the biggest gain of this approach is to train different levels of curators. Exhibitions are the basic form in which cultural relics move toward society. Cultural relics are objects that pass through time and carry past information. The long years do not necessarily cool the temperature of cultural relics. "The key is to find the entry point of cultural relics and people's social life." This is Zhao Shuguang's experience.

Shanxi Wenbo system planning original exhibitions often have to be combed in two aspects: combing cultural relics resources and sorting out hot spots in social life. From the combing of these two aspects, they find a point of convergence and let the cultural re-lives "live" in people's social life. More than 1,000 bonnets have been collected for the “Hot Beauty Flower Childhood Memory” exhibition. This is an exhibition jointly organized by the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Exchange Center, the Shanxi Art Museum and the Jincheng Museum. The exhibition is still under planning, and there are contact exhibitions such as the Fujian Folk Museum.

The survival of cultural relics is not simply limited to taking cultural relics into social life. It is also important to push the cultural information of cultural relics to the society. The Henan Museum has a Chinese ancient orchestra, which imitated the unearthed ancient instruments for performance. At first, I performed at the Henan Provincial Museum every morning and afternoon, and I was very popular with the audience. Later, the ancient musical instrument performance became a brand, and the Chinese ancient music performance project also went to universities in Beijing and other places to perform, and even went overseas. Ding Welfe, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Henan Provincial Museum, said that this allows the cultural relics to “go back” to modern life and show their unique charm. The Chinese Character Museum in Anyang, Henan Province has a “Bone School”. This school uses two hours of knowledge every Saturday and Sunday. The "props" are Oracle and bronze. Volunteers took out cultural relics or cultural relics imitations, introduced historical knowledge such as words and bronzes, and listened to many primary and middle school students, each time there were more than 60 people. In the “school”, children can get close to and recognize cultural relics. Organizers said that some foreign children have made an appointment online to come and experience such a class.

Only when we walk into life, the artifacts of thousands of years ago can make people today interested. The removal of cultural relics from the warehouse is only the first step. To enhance the effectiveness of cultural self-confidence, cultural relics must bring their unique cultural information into people's social life.

The archaeological excavation of the Yin Ruins in Anyang is a major event in China's archaeological work, with fruitful results. The Yinxu archaeological site has a long history. Some people even called the Yin Ruins site in the suburb of Anyang "the cradle of archaeologists." Despite this, the exhibition of cultural relics unearthed in the Yin Ruins in Anyang is a recent event. Yinxu declared the world cultural heritage, and the local government invested in the construction of the Yinxu Museum. Now, the museum has an exhibition area of ​​3,535 square meters, and each time more than 600 pieces of unearthed artifacts are exhibited. Although the number of exhibits is limited, the artifacts can be rotated for display.

"With the museum, you can take out the cultural relics in the storeroom," said Du Jiu-ming, director of the Yinxu Management Office. The Yinxu Museum is invested and built by the Anyang Municipal Government and exhibits are provided by the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This cooperation mode has realized resource sharing, integrated cultural resources of local and central units, and has obvious social benefits. Museum construction is the basis for cultural relics to get out of the warehouse.

In the past few years, the Shanxi Museum has held many exhibitions in cooperation with Jincheng, Yuncheng and Datong, and the exhibition tour in the province has also first visited these places. Liang Yujun, Development Department of Shanxi Museum said: “The cultural relics go out to do exhibitions. The venue conditions are a constraint. Jincheng and Yuncheng are places where the museum is a new building and the basic conditions are good. The exhibition is much more important.” Cultural relics are “living”. Prerequisites for getting up, there is no good exhibition venue, it is difficult to ensure the safety of cultural relics. The cultural relics lived and put forward new requirements for the construction of the museum.

In many places, museum construction is being regarded as a “new landmark” for urban expansion. A number of museums in city-level cities are local specialties. We saw in the survey that the construction of county-level museums is still a weak link. The cultural relics lived and the museum was built, reflecting the fact that it is also a comprehensive economic and social development of the region. With the strengthening of economic strength, we believe that the museums in the first-level areas of the county and city will become a beautiful landscape, and there will be more and more extensive venues for more cultural relics to come out and live.
