2. Failure analysis


When the pump is working, the water needs to enter the motor to cool the windings. After long-term use, the water will accumulate in the motor, and there will be sludge. During use, the lubricating oil on the bearing is washed away by water, which may cause damage to the bearing and cause malfunction. This can be checked first during maintenance.

3. Troubleshooting

First check if the rotor rotation is flexible. After inspection, no blockage was found, and its operation was basically normal. The pump was disassembled for inspection. It was found that the lower end of the rotor was loose between the shaft and the bearing, and the rotor was moved down (the rotor was about 8 mm away from the stator): using a suitable washer pad Between the rotor and the bearing, the rotor is moved up, and the bearing is also replaced with a new one; after confirmation, the power is turned on, the water output of the pump returns to normal, and the fault is eliminated.
