Railway Steel Bridge Coatings Selected in "Railway Products Certification List (First Batch)"

The Ministry of Railways published the "List of railway product certifications (first batch)" on June 28, 2012. The railway steel bridge coatings (including primers, intermediate lacquers, and topcoats) were selected. In addition, spray-coated polyurea waterproof coatings and polyurethanes were selected. Waterproof coatings and other railroad waterproof materials were also selected. The "Catalogue" is based on the "Measures for the Administration of Railway Product Certification" issued by the Ministry of Railways, the National Certification and Accreditation Regulatory Commission (Tieji Science and Technology [2012] No. 95), and the Ministry of Railways' "Regulations Governing the Access Control of Special Railway Equipment Products" ( Iron and Politics (2011) No. 202). According to the introduction of the Ministry of Railways, the list of railway product certifications was issued by the Ministry of Railways in batches and adjusted as needed. The products in the "Catalogue" announced this time, starting from July 1, 2012, began to implement the certification of railway products. If the products in the Catalogue were originally subject to administrative license management, the application for new administrative licenses will cease to be accepted on July 1, 2012. Where the products in the Catalogue have originally been subject to administrative licensing or product certification management, the administrative license or product certification certificate will continue to be valid for the period of validity.
