Application of "Aluminum Generation Steel" in Waste Bundling

Recently, the steel strip used in the cold-rolled regional baling waste of Zhongfu High-Purity Aluminum Co., Ltd. has disappeared. Instead, aluminum strips or aluminum filaments have been replaced. This is a new change brought about by energy saving and consumption reduction of high-precision aluminum.

During rolling, some head and tail material will be produced. Originally, these head and tail materials were directly bundled with steel strips and put into baskets, which were then transferred to smelting furnaces. In the melting and returning process, since the steel band is bundled, the strip must be removed before returning to the furnace. However, when the stock preparation is melted, a large amount of aluminum scrap is piled up, and it is very difficult to remove the steel strip. In August, among the rationalization proposals submitted by the staff, it was proposed that “the waste scraped by the mill should be bundled directly with aluminum or aluminum wire, so that it is not necessary to remove the bundled aluminum strip during melting and returning to the furnace, and the employee's casting can be reduced. The labor intensity of the stock preparation work." Afterwards, the personnel in the rolling mill area experimented with using aluminum wire or slitting the edges of the aluminum strips to bind the waste and could replace the strip.

Today, the rolling mill area has been fully implemented with "aluminum substitute steel" for waste baling. This not only saves steel belts, but also improves the quality of cast products and reduces the labor intensity of employees.
