Reasonable application to improve urea utilization

Priority is given to major crops. The price of urea is relatively high. When applying, first consider crops with large planting area and high economic value (such as wheat and corn), while for secondary crops such as buckwheat, they can be applied less or not according to economic conditions. Give full play to the effect of fertilizer production.

As a base fertilizer or top dressing. Urea is suitable for base fertilizer and top dressing, and generally does not use seed fertilizer. Because high concentration of urea will destroy the structure of the protein, so that the protein will deteriorate, affecting seed germination and root growth of the seedlings, and in severe cases, the seed will lose its ability to germinate.

For the autumn lying fertilizer. Autumn urea application in dry land is better than spring application. Under the same conditions, according to the test, the application rate of urea in the season can increase the utilization rate of urea in the season by more than 10.8%. If combined with organic fertilizer and other fertilizers, the effect is better.

Topdressing outside the roots. Urea is an amide fertilizer, which is organic, neutral, and contains no by-products. It has little burn to the stems and leaves of the crops; urea has a small volume and easily penetrates into the cells through the cell membrane; urea itself is hygroscopic and easily absorbed by the leaves. When the leaves penetrate, the separation of the walls is less, and even if it occurs, it will recover quickly. Therefore, urea as a root dressing is better than other nitrogen fertilizers. The concentration and time of spraying outside the root vary with the type of crop. Generally, 0.5-2.5 kg of urea per acre is used, once every 4-5 days, 2-3 times.

Follow up in advance. Urea is applied to the soil, first through the action of soil microbes, and finally hydrolyzed to ammonium bicarbonate before being absorbed by the roots of the crop.

Deep application of soil. The final product of urea decomposition in soil is ammonium carbonate. Ammonium carbonate is very unstable. It decomposes in the soil or on the soil surface to form free ammonia, which is volatile and volatile. Therefore, urea should be applied to the soil in depth, and the depth of covering soil is generally about 10cm.

Apply after rain. The urea has good moisture absorption performance, and the dry land topdressing should be as much as possible after the rain, so that the fertilizer dissolves quickly and is adsorbed by the soil. At the same time, some fertilizer can be absorbed through the leaves to improve fertilizer efficiency and reduce losses.

Apply in the morning or evening. As with other nitrogen fertilizers, urea should be applied in the morning or evening, preferably after rain or on cloudy days.

Cooperate with other fertilizers. Urea is a unit fertilizer, which should be used in combination with phosphate fertilizer or other chemical fertilizers, so as to meet the needs of crops for various nutrients, and also to play a role in assisting fertilizers.

It is applied in combination with organic fertilizers. The combination of urea and organic fertilizer is an effective measure to improve the efficiency of urea. It can make up for shortness and quick recovery; improve fertilizer efficiency, save fertilizer; promote microbial activities, improve crop nutrient conditions; reduce production cost, increase yield, increase income, etc. The economic benefit is that the farmer's fertilizer is best with high quality pig manure, and the urea pig manure ratio is 1:1.9.
