In February, Tangshan Iron & Steel Corporation doubled the export of boron hot rolled sheet

In February, Tangshan Iron & Steel produced 34,400 tons of hot-rolled SS400 hot-rolled plate, which was more than twice the historical best level. Some products have been sold to Vietnam, South Korea and other countries according to the contract.

The SS400 Boron series hot rolled export sheet is mainly used for building plant house frames, bridges, and pipes. The profit per ton of steel is nearly 400 yuan higher than that of ordinary hot rolled coils. Since 2011, Tanggang has taken the maximization of product profits as its goal, making full use of the relevant national policies on export tax rebates and realizing the incremental efficiency of exporting high-margin products.

It is reported that on July 15, 2010, China lifted export tax rebates for 48 kinds of steel products such as HRC and plate, prompting iron and steel companies to speed up the elimination of outdated production capacity and produce more high value-added products, thereby reducing trade frictions.
