4 size, shape and weight
4.1 Outer diameter and wall thickness
4.1.1 The nominal outside diameter and nominal wall thickness of the steel pipe are to comply with the requirements of Table 1.
4.1.2 The allowable deviation of the nominal outside diameter of the steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of Table 2, and shall be measured by the perimeter method.
Note: After the allowable deviation of the nominal outer diameter of the steel pipe is converted into the perimeter, it can be repaired to the nearest 1 mm.
4.1.3 The allowable deviation of the nominal wall thickness of the steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of Table 3. It can be measured with a wall thickness micrometer or other nondestructive testing device with corresponding accuracy. When there is a dispute over the nominal wall thickness measurement result or an arbitration test is performed, the result of the wall thickness micrometer measurement shall prevail.
4.2 Steel pipe length
4.2.1 Normal length: 6 to 12m. With purchaser and manufacturer agreement, the usual length of the steel pipe can be lengthened or shortened.
4.2.2 Length of the fixed length: The length of the fixed length should be within the normal length range, and the limit deviation is ±500mm.
4.2.3 Length of precision-sizing rule: By the purchaser's and manufacturer's agreement, it is possible to supply steel pipes of finer-gauge lengths whose length limit deviation is stricter than that specified in 4.2.2.
4.3 Roundness Within the 100 mm length of the pipe end, the maximum outside diameter of the steel pipe shall not exceed 1 % of the nominal outside diameter and the minimum outside diameter shall not be less than 1 % of the nominal outside diameter. 4.4 Straightness of the steel pipe shall not exceed 0.2% of the length of the pipe. 4.5 Tube end
4.5.1 The pipe end should be grooved. The groove angle is 30° and the blunt edge size is 1.6mm±0.8mm. The groove angle was measured on the basis of the vertical axis of the steel tube axis. No burrs are allowed on the edge of the tube end. According to the buyer’s request, delivery can be made on a flat basis. 4.5.2 The end face of the steel pipe shall be perpendicular to the axis of the steel pipe. The limit deviation (diagonal) is defined as: for steel pipes with a nominal outside diameter of less than 813 mm, the limit deviation is 1.6 mm; for steel pipes with a nominal outside diameter greater than or equal to 813 mm, the limit The deviation is 3.0mm.
