China is the largest producer of fasteners in the world, with an annual output of more than 5.6 million tons. Currently, the vast majority of fasteners produced in China are low-strength ordinary fasteners, with low added value, and a large number of high-strength fasteners. To be imported, the unit price of export products is less than 20% of the unit price of imported fasteners. At present, there are nearly 10,000 fastener production and trading companies in China.

The construction of infrastructure in Hefei's “big construction”, such as railway, highway, and airport construction projects, has brought about a turning point for the fastener industry to expand the domestic trade market. It is reported that a large number of fastener companies in Hefei are improving their ability to independently innovate, increase the added value of fastener products, and increase their reputation. While expanding their influence in the industry, they are striving to promote the development of the fastener industry in Hefei to high-end fields.
